1. Who we are

Fulcrum Handyman is a handyman services business based in Fort Worth, Texas (4200 S Hulen St, Suite 402, Fort Worth, TX 76109). We serve Tarrant County and the Dallas–Fort Worth metro. This privacy policy applies to fulcrumhandyman.com and any communication channels we run (phone, text, email, social media).

2. What we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you contact us or book a job:

  • Contact information — name, phone number, email address, and street address (for the job site).
  • Job details — descriptions of the work you want done, photos you send, and any additional context (zip code, neighborhood, scheduling preferences).
  • Communications — the content of phone calls, texts, emails, and chat messages with us.
  • Payment information — credit card or check details when you pay an invoice. Card payments are processed by our payment provider (currently Stripe via GoHighLevel); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

We also collect basic information automatically when you visit the site:

  • Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. Used for security and aggregate analytics, not tied to your identity.

3. How we use it

We use the information you give us to:

  • Reply to your inquiry and provide a written estimate.
  • Schedule and complete the work you've hired us for.
  • Send you reminders and follow-ups about the job (text and email).
  • Process payment and issue receipts.
  • Address warranty and workmanship-guarantee claims.
  • Improve our services and response times.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising or marketing to people other than you. If you ask to be added to a "let me know about seasonal maintenance" list, that's the only marketing-style outreach we'll do, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text or unsubscribing from an email.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers we use to run the business:

  • GoHighLevel (GHL) — our CRM and communication platform. Stores your contact info, job history, and message threads.
  • Netlify — hosts this website. Standard server logs only.
  • Stripe — processes card payments via GHL.
  • Google Workspace — email and document storage.

We may share information with law enforcement or regulators if legally required (subpoena, court order). We will tell you if this happens unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your job records for 7 years after the last job, primarily to honor the workmanship guarantee and answer any "did you work on this?" questions that come up later. After 7 years, records are deleted from our active CRM. Server logs are retained for 30 days.

6. Your rights

You can:

  • Access a copy of the information we have about you. Email hello@fulcrumhandyman.com and we'll send it within 30 days.
  • Correct incorrect information. Same email, we'll fix it.
  • Delete your information. We'll delete what we can, while retaining what we're legally required to keep (tax records, signed contracts).
  • Opt out of any optional communications. Reply STOP to a text or unsubscribe from email.

7. Cookies and tracking

This site uses minimal cookies — only what's needed for the GHL chat widget and form embed to function. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other third-party advertising trackers. If your client adds these in the future, this section needs to be updated to reflect them.

8. Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged in a banner on the site for at least 30 days.
